Oral presentation

Status of J-PARC Transmutation Experimental Facility Program, 1; Progress in design of ADS Target Test Facility (TEF-T)

Maekawa, Fujio

no journal, ,

To contribute to development of Accelerator Driven nuclear transmutation Systems (ADS), construction of the ADS Target Test Facility (TEF-T) is planned as a part of J-PARC Transmutation Experimental Facility. Behavior of structural materials irradiated by a proton beam under flowing liquid lead-bismuth is to be studied at TEF-T. Recent progress in design of TEF-T will be outlined.

no journal, ,

To assess physicochemical composition of spallation products in Lead-Bismuth Eutectic (LBE) alloy which was to be used as a spallation neutron target and coolant materials of Accelerator Driven nuclear transmutation Systems (ADS), inventories of spallation products in an LBE loop of J-PARC ADS Target Test Facility (TEF-T) were evaluated.

Oral presentation

Research on physicochemical composition of spallation products in lead-bismuth eutectic in ADS, 2; Thermodynamic study of physicochemical composition of spallation products

no journal, ,

Representative spallation product elements in a lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE) loop in the ADS Target Test Facility (TEF-T) were selected. Chemical compounds of the elements and their concentrations which can be formed in the LBE were evaluated by one point equilibrium calculation by using the integrated thermodynamic calculation system Thermo-Calc.
